You have good candidates who lose political races because of their stance on the issues.  You also have bad candidates who lose political races because of their stance on the issues.  Then you have bad candidates who drop out of political races because they are losing.  When these candidates promptly turn against the party that got them there, you have a turncoat.  But when this same candidate goes on a liberal talk show on CNN and says that she plans to remain a Republican instead of doing the honest thing and officially switching to the Democrat Party, you have a really bad advertisement for the GOP.

A gentleman I know is really quite fed up with the Republican Party and the nonsense they have been promoting as candidates and issues recently.  He received a request for funds from his Congressional District in the form of a survey.

Like most of us who have formerly supported Republican candidates, he has come to the same conclusion others have.  “You’re not playing, so we’re not paying.” (more…)
